"...and WWDP beats every other counter or alternative to low, then that's all there's going to be." I have put in the time and effort to figure out multiple ways to beat that move. Just because you have not put that time and effort into it does…

You two seemed to miss my point. I said "I will just constantly try to keep buffing my own skills against ALL forms of play." Meaning I will try to better my reflexes, thought process, adaptability, awareness, etc. That "in my opinion" is the best b…

I understand your confusion in what I say about the decks being the same yadda yadda. I look at fighting games and its characters differently than most players. I can't speak on 2d fighters much, but in 3d fighters (or any fighter that I'm familiar …

I disagree Dante. You say that what the OP said isn't false. Those are "opinions" that you and he share. It doesn't matter if a vast majority of a population agrees or disagrees, it is still an opinion that double hits need to be nerfed. Then it wil…

I understand where you are coming from Dante, but this game is quite unique. The problem a lot of people are having is the set pool of moves at everyone's disposal. I've discovered that just because a person may have a similar deck to me, I will eff…

With all due respect, most drunken styles hit very hard. Double hit moves need to remain because of Khalts style as well as charge moves. The moves have already been tweaked and balanced by Sloclap. It gets frustrating hearing people constantl…

So in your opinion Heathen, which is worse: drunken moves or speed moves? Most of the drunken moves are evasive not fast. The fact that all moves are accessible by all players is where the balance lies in Sloclaps eyes *I'm assuming*. The only true …

I agree Heathen357. However, there is a counter measure for just about every strategy in this game unless lag is involved. It just depends on one's swift ability to adapt to said strategy on the fly.

Great debate guys with some very insightful facts, opinions, problems, and solutions. Imo, it is discussions like these that ultimately help to move the community forward in a positive way. I happen to agree with the two of you on several points. Mo…

Thank you for the info Dante. I've remained fairly competitive on PS4 with only a select number of people who can beat me consistently. My deck has a few of these moves that have been unchanged since inception of the game. However, that is where any…

Forgive me for my ignorance, but what exactly are you guys referring to when you say "meta?" Also, what do u guys define as "cheap" "scrub" or "noob" tactics?
-
Yea. That does sound pretty intetesting. The secrecy behind the styles is intriguing.
-
I am always up for a good sparring session. Rip-Ridah on PS4. Send friend request. Always honorable fights from me.
-
Yea, I have noticed these things too. It has started to rubber band in alot of matches. Was in a fight with a Khalt and was beaten 5 matches in a row before i realized that my avoid slowdown wasn't working. My fault for not recognizing it sooner, b…

Cool story.

Sorry to jump in on your staggerfest (lol) but I just wanted to add my two cents. Kudos to you for trying to rely on a tactical approach to battles rather than just spamming fast attacks and trying to squeeze a win out at any cost. I've been 1…

I've actually fought u before. I remember the name. Add Rip-Ridah and we can have some ranked private 1v1 matches.
-
Are u on PS4 or PC Lukin? Regardless, I suggest acquiring a pool of strong competitors and utilizing the private 1v1 ranked system. It GREATLY improves my quality matches against people. Also, I take interim breaks by logging out and then back into …

With pleasure Vital. I'm a Windfall user on PS4. A high level Khalt user is not hindered by the mix up factor that Forsaken and Windfall users are. Lets be honest here: a true high level player utilizes their defensive special effectively as well as…

No problem Waterfall. Hard work deserves to be acknowledged. I'll be keeping a close eye on the production updates you guys post.

Regarding Forsaken, I think I have been able to adjust to being parried. Yes, when it happens they are guaranteed damage, so I proceed to mix em up. Everything with the 1.14 patch is great. I would add that stance change is still occurring on block …
-
I respectfully disagree with u sir. Atm, I would say that the four styles are the closest in balance since the games inception, but Khalt is still the most powerful class, followed by Forsaken, Windfall, and finally Stagger imho. The levels of dispa…
-
Yea. What they said...
-
Yea. Thx Vanguard. Getting tired of facing all these buffed Khalt players.
-
In all honesty, I would prefer for the 4 directional inputs to remain. Sloclap just needs to work all the kinks out so that it works as intended.
-
100% Windfall is broken atm. What makes it bad is that you can start a match with everything working, but somewhere/sometime during battle, our defensive special just won't work. It is very frustrating and needs to be addressed ASAP.
-
Yes I agree. Khalt users are very tough with the right skills. The devs are trying to balance everything. I am just patiently waiting for them to get Windfall in proper order.
-
I feel your frustration Sly.
-
On top of Windfall being broken, Khalt being buffed with frame advantage, and the combat feeling like we're fighting in a muddy swamp, the stupid stance change bug is back. 2 steps forward, 3 steps back Sloclap.
-
The Khalt so called "nerf" was a buff smh. That stupid frame freeze is part of the reason Forsaken was so OP. Meanwhile, in Windfall land, the avoid is so broken that it is just stupid. I can't understand how the whole mechanic fails to slowdown or …
