Happened to me too today. Meia lua was able to hit through walls though, so I was able to finish the fight without exiting the game.

Playing online now gives me an empty world; not even the marked ones are there. Entering combat trials gives me automatic cancellation, and after a few tries gives me an offline status. Wondering if this is a bug or a feature to prevent lagging PvP
