Patch 1.05 is live for PC and PS4
Dear Prospects, we've been 100% committed this week into improving the experience for players all around the world. This update addresses mainly bug fixes and stability improvement. Please note that we will keep tabs on player's feedback regarding this patch and are continuing work on online stability and server availability for players around the world.
Please find below the patch notes for update 1.05 rolling out now for PC. There will be another next week (1.06) that will include some new goodies.

- Various improvements to server connection and matchmaking
- Added double save to avoid complete progression loss if a save get corrupted
- Bug fixes when joining a school
- Fixed bug where Achievements wouldn’t be unlocked on Steam and PS4.Beat an AI to unlock your due achievements, there could be a small delay before the achievement pops
- Cross-region invitations added
- Fixed Boss progression not being updated. For now, this fix only works for bosses, we’re still working on fixing the Marked Ones progression issue. We apologize about this issue and are still investigating
- Improved overall stability

Entering combat trials gives me automatic cancellation, and after a few tries gives me an offline status.
Wondering if this is a bug or a feature to prevent lagging PvP
I hope they gonna try to use a server selection for geo-political reason & technical issue.

I don't know if their ping selection is IP geographically related or its only on ping frequency but in case they have an ip selection be carefull of geopolitical affiliation.
A lot of island around the world could be affiliated to Eu & use Eu server as relay, even through they are in indian ocean/atlantic or else.
It could be more suitable to have a manual server selection to avoid to care about this kind of issue.
I had play Absolver since the launching day, i had luck to get a few pvp match free of lag before the two patch.
I hope for the fix of the lag & connectivity issue, so i can get back to play the game from where i left it.

PvP is a lot better then it was. Teleportations are still there but less annoying. But something is still off. System just disconnect random people from you. I met only one guy during my 1 hour in game. I connected to only 3 PvP combat trials out of 7. Maybe cause of you two cant play without laggs. Maybe its for good. Maybe not. Maybe it's a temporary decision they made. Sometimes AI bots could notice me but couldnt touch me. Their attacks were going through me and so were mine. And one time I was in 1v3 battle with bots. Hardly made it 1v1. A few punch to win and suddenly bot disappears and 3 other guys respawned. I was doomed. And the progress that the last guy tought me also disappeared. Thats pretty annoying thing.
Any word on ps update? how long does generally take to get approval. a couple hours? a day? Will it happen over weekends or do we have to wait till monday?
Conan Exiles tried to do the same, but they've seen the damage it did to middle eastern players, so they brought us back to EU
the game became unplayable since last patch, things were fine before this last patch:
- I can't play Combat Trial anymore, matches get instantly cancelled.
- I can't interact with other players, I just see them joining/leaving session, and they all have asian/singapori/indonesian names ( and I check their profiles too )
- Whenever I try to hit a player, I get disconnected from session
never had these problems before last patch!
I wanted to try out the patch today, fighted 3 match and i had this HORRIBLE lag, i was attacking a invisible guy and dealing damage, and i saw my health bar draining at 5 metters from the guy lol..
The playerbase is getting lower at a dramatical pace, if you dont do something soon, the game will start running low on players very soon.... its a shame because the core game its fun.

EDIT: There are still couple of fights where you will lag alot, even though those lag fights decreased in a great amount but I hope this gets fixed soon.
Yep, confirmed. I tried going online again and the online experience has greatly improved. Things are looking up!
In fact it seems pretty consistent that even with people that seem to move normally when stagger dodge is used or when I parry the attack the start rubberbanding quite a bit for a second.
It would be nice if there was an option to display latency to host. Also if multiplayer will remain p2p I suggest match rating system so that players who have issues when joining each other games won't meet as often, since division by region is not ideal.
