Do you keep the school weapon once you unlock it at level 6 when you leave the school?

You do not keep it. I lost the tear Machete of the school I joined when I switched school, and I was the higest rank possible.

Currently, the only thing you keep is the combat style if you learned it through enough use. We don't have any plans to change that right now.
