My character was deleted and somehow my account now has merged with my friend's account.

I had one level 60 character with ~20 hours played. When I logged in today, my character was deleted and I now have my friend's two level 60 characters on my account.

How does this happen? Why?

I'm pretty much never going to play this game again if it's just gonna randomly delete my fucking characters.

Please help.

    Hi sevenspaces, I'm terribly sorry to hear about this situation. Could you tell me what platform you were playing on? And could you also tell me if your friend used that PC or console?

    hey same thing happened here without the merge I mean but my characters were all deleted. 100 hours wasted...
