Ah, so you meant different swords to use when you have shards. I thought you were referring to the swords you find in the ground now and then.
I did read somewhere about a katana used by the Drunken Master you have to beat on the bridge at the base of the Tower of Adal (also spawns on the path if you run past the courtyard and back into the forest area). Forgot the NPC's name, but anyway, read somewhere that someone made a school that has his sword as an unlock. So apparently he can drop it (assuming he drops it and not a boss on a harder difficulty). Just gonna have to farm him I guess. Good luck, I hear gear has very low drop rates, and I believe it, I haven't got much at the moment. Still only have the pants and boots of Fang Li Noble.
Im using both claws (gloves) and sword, I'd love to see more weapon styles.
As for staffs it probably would have more long range relativly slow attacks, and some fast low range attacks to defend yourself when karate guy trying to get in and punch you in a face.

Clearly you've never played Soul Calibur and seen Seong Mi-Na or Kilik fight. Some of their attacks are slow and hit hard, but a lot of them are lightning fast.
Hey everyone! This is a great question, and I'll do my best to answer.
As you know, War Gloves and Swords are the only weapons available right now, but we're hoping to have more in the game. We can't share details on that yet but we'll provide more info as and when it becomes available!

Thats why Im said *relativly* slow, and I never said that they hit hard. I have an idea what you can make with a stick, it's such a versatile tool since you can always control your handle and change properties of your weapon (such as speed, length etc). The only question is how they implement it in existit mechanics and also how they balance it compared to fist/sword fights
