(GoG) Can't see and join schools

As the title says, i have the GoGG version of the game, and for every player i se the "Player not in a school" in the Encounter menu, even if they have the school icon next to their name (Rank doesn't matter).

    I have the same problem, also on GOG. Starting to think that the problem is related to this.

    Same here.

    You can still see the school of other players by using the mouse but it will be empty (no members or mentors) and trying to join it will only leave you with no school.

    Still an issue even with last patch, at least some acknowledgment by the devs would be nice. Even posted a ticket but got no asnwer.

    We are aware of the issue with schools not showing up for GoG players. We're working on a resolution for this but currently do not have an ETA.

    You could atleast stop selling the gog version, aslong as the important social aspects don't work.

    Like characters from the gog version are locked into their starting style and stagger. You want to test the other stances? Well better start a new character and unlock everything from the start.

    You can still join the schools of GOG players, I found a GOG player on the official Discord server and I now have all of the styles permanently.

    How did you go about joining a school? I've tried switching from encounters to invitation but every time I do so, it hangs on the little loading screen until i alt tab and close the game.

    Why are you trying to go over to invitations? You can select players from the recent players and friends tab.

    A player on the absolver discord suggested that i connect with other gog users via the in game invite system in order to join a school without having to sift through random encounters.

    If you have problems going over to invitations, then you should just be the one joining someone else's instance, I guess. Not much you can do about that issue you're having apart from reporting it to the devs and praying.
