Please add the ability to re-map the ability.

It makes no sense that you can't map only that to something else.
Playing windfall right now and not being able to dodge low or up because it's incredibly uncomfortable to move the mouse that way. Would really like to bind dodge up and dodge down to mouse buttons or the keyboard.

  • I agree. Add some options to change that up. I would like to try Stance Switching with the mouse flick, and make defensive moves buttons.

Too add to this if this is being worked on Sloclap, can I ask that you allow modifier keys for the keybinds?

For example: Left ALT + A = Avoid Left / Parry Left / Stagger Left / Absorb Left.

There was a nice individual on Reddit who made a Autohotkey Script to emulate the mouse movements when pressing the corresponding example button and it works very well! It would be nice to see this implemented in the game officially instead of having to go around with third-party tools to do the same effect.

I was about to ask if AHK macros where allowed for this things.

The Reddit user who made the script has apparently asked for Sloclap's official statement on the matter and has not received a word yet. We unfortunately don't know.

I'll attempt to ask some of the team members on Discord when I get home later tonight.

Just use a controller. Thats what I had to end up doing

You wouldn't play dark souls with a mouse and keyboard

Funnily enough, I was the crazy guy who preferred Mouse and Keyboard over a controller in Dark Souls after using a few third party tools to make it more bearable. Anyone who knows about DSMouseFix knows what I'm talking about, lol.

I live in beaner-town. Controllers are expensive.
Also I do prefer to use a keyboard, and would rather have a game with proper control options.
And did play DS with a keyboard.
Not to talk about people with actual physical disabilities.
  • I want this as well, but for controller. I wish to remap "parry" off the darn stick! I find the default controller configuration horrendous, done changed majority of it. But stuck working around the darn stick for parry, is no good.

Ability to reconfigure any button, would be golden. Seems to be high up on many peoples wish list for this game.
  • We've definitely heard this feedback and adding more binding options is something we'd like to do in the future. We currently don't have an ETA for that though as we're focusing 100% right now on resolving the issues that have popped up since launch. Once we can start adding and expanding on features, we'll let you know.

Good to know that it's been thought about and will be worked on eventually! I appreciate the response @slcp_Vanguard!
