Game crashes after tutorial (PC)

I downloaded Absolver yesterday night, and got through the tutorial, to the cinematic where the camera pans to a large city. However, immediately after that I get a loading screen, and then the game crashes with the message, "Absolver has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Any attempts to relog on to that character just causes the game to crash. I tried starting new characters, but it always crashes at that exact moment. I've tried reinstalling Absolver but it didn't change anything.

  • Hey there, Barman42, I'm so sorry to hear of the trouble you're having in getting the game to go beyond the tutorial!

Because this is consistently happening, even after reinstalls, it most certainly needs to be looked into further. Would you be able to send an email to our support team at support_pc@sloclap.com please?

You may need to include a crash dump so that the team can figure out what's happening. If you need steps on how to get these, I've put them just below.

    First go to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Absolver\Saved\Logs
The folders should look like this: "UE4CC-Windows-D899DBC94916A3FB8E5403B0F6EE20C4_0000"

Please take these files and attach them to the email, explaining what's happened in as much detail as you can provide.

Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention, and please accept my apologies for the trouble it has caused!

i have same problem but i try u say slcp_Furolles and the logs folder is EMPTY...?
  • Hey xkidz123, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have any luck finding anything in those folders. Your best bet in this case would be to still email support_pc@sloclap.com, but make sure to mention that the folders were empty so they can take that into account.

Thank you for making me aware that this is going on, and I hope this gets rectified for you soon!
