Game crashes during loading screens

Hi, I have gotten absolver several months after launch, and the game worked fine and had minimal crashes, however I had stopped playing the game for a while due to exams and such. When I got back though the downfall expansion had been released, for which I was excited, at first the game launched fine, and I was able to play it normally, until I decided to do the dungeons, from which when I had eventually lost and gotten to the loading screen the game froze completely, I was unable to open task manager, to end the process and the game would not close on it's own(I had waited for several minutes) at which point I had no option other than restarting my pc, then I had tried again, however this time it crashed when moving from area to area, in the loading between the areas. If there is anything I could do to fix this issue please help.

Thank you in advance.

  • Hey Triton765,

We are sorry to hear you've run into some technical issues.

Can you answer some additional questions to clear thing up, please?

    - Which platform you're using playing the game (Steam/GoG/PS4)?
    - If you are playing on PC does your PC specifications meet the minimum requirements for the game?
    - Have you updated your graphics card drivers to the latest ones?
    - Have you tried checking file integrity and/or reinstalling the game?

Thank you for your patience and cooperation in this matter.
  • Yes I am using PC and my drivers are up to date,

    My specs are:
    i7 6700k
    gigabyte 1080
    16gb 3200mhz ram

So I do not believe that the problem lies with my specs, however I shall try reinstalling the game to see whether that helps resolve the issue.
