I was just wondering why this game seems to have no matchmaking whatsoever, I'm bronze 29 and I havent faced someone lower than gold for a solid hour. Im not sure if it's just that thr game is dead or what.
We’re so sorry to hear that you’ve had some trouble with the game’s matchmaking system. Our devs are constantly at work on improving various gameplay mechanics, including matchmaking, and feedback from our players is especially useful in diagnosing any potential issues that are being experienced.

You are joking, right? You know damn well that there's no matchmaking system in the game!
I decided to re-download the game once I've heard that the new combat style you're adding is going to be Bruce Lee's JKD. Only to get destroyed repeatedly because your "matchmaking system" puts me against skillful players with Bronze and Silver! Good times.

There's a matchmaking system in place, but it's a general one as we don't currently have a Ranked game mode. The current matchmaking system places you based on Character Level (not Prestige), Skill Rating (hidden), and Ping. Ultimately the system will find the best match for you from those actively queuing for Combat Trials taking into account those factors. If there's no perfect match available, it finds the best match it can. Regions/platforms with lower populations will find it harder to get a perfect match.
The Bronze/Silver you're referencing is a Prestige indicator, not a Ranking indicator. Prestige is not linked to skill, but is just a general indicator of time played in the game. That time could have been spent playing against NPCs or it could have been spent playing against other people.
So you're telling me that as a level 57, that just came back, with a couple of combat hours in my hands, I should be facing someone that has double, triple or quadruple of my play time(and let's be honest here, it's not against NPC's)! Someone that has every skill unlocked and and can pretty much destroy a new player with his eyes closed. Gotcha!
At least now I know why I don't see any new players queue up! *sigh*
When I was new the matchmaking was pretty balanced for me & I was doin good against all kinds of levels but now I have days where I face nothing but new comers & im silver or I face the best of the best just gotta be ready
