can't click on anything in emote tab

I can click on the emote tab and see the choices, but can't click on anything, thus i can't communicate with anyone and I also can't answer cooperation requests. I am playing on PC on windows 8.1. Its a decent computer, i am not having lag in game.

    Hey there thoughtank101, I'm very sorry to hear about this. Would you be able to confirm for me if this works at all after restarting the Steam Client or is this persistent among multiple sessions you try to run?
