raising softcap on attributes

I think the softcap for each attribute is a bit low. I have distributed my points so that i reach the softcap or just barely under it with every attribute except for will, but i still had enough points to reach about 1.6 chargerate (as kahlt). I can pick any move i want, be it A in strength or S in dexterity without noteworthy loss in damage while still having a lot of health and stamina. That defeats the purpose of an attribute system in my opinion.
I think raising the softcap to 30 for example would create more and different builds.

  • Completely agree. Every style has an optimal stat placement, and making any changes to it isn't worth it as your style will more or less dictate what moves are useful anyways. As of right now there's no incentive to specialize in certain types of attacks by focussing on certain stats.
