How To Communicate In Game?

I know there is that stupid emote wheel, but I want to be able to add people to a friends list and talk to them with typing in game chat.

  • In my opinion this is a interesting situation. This is a lot like "Journey".
But if you really want to talk to someone, you can go to "encounter" and find people you met there.
  • I like the emote wheel.
Had already had great interactions w/ just that.
You can always start a party on PSN if you have to.
  • In-game communication is limited to the available emotes, however you are free to add players to your friends list on Steam/PS4 and communicate directly with them via those platforms.
  • I refuse to use Steam and I don't have a PS4.
  • Hey all!

At this time, the emote wheel is the only way to communicate in-game. We strongly encourage you all to add each other on steam or use the official Discord channels to talk to each other. To add a little to this, there is no voice chat option being planned.

So you want a method of adding people to friends lists and typed communication-- but refuse to use a service that allows just what you're asking for?

You cant use Steam if you arent running the game on Steam. Duh. Also I hate everything about Steam that I will never purchase a game from them ever again.

Alright then, no friends for you. Have fun with your lonely, juvenile crusade against steam.

    Wait, am I missing something?

I thought Absolver was only available on PS4, Steam, and GoG platforms?
  • I don't understand why you are concerned when you're obviously not interested and/or don't have the means to utilize the platforms required to play the game. Your topic is meaningless.
