I have also met a hacker in the 1v1 pvp, i have no video evidence but he had unlimited tension shards, pulled out a risryn sword at the start of the first round and just spammed heal and shockwave in a corner for a solid 5 mins, i have a screenshot…

Maybe like the same system in Destiny with strange coins to trade to xur, add in a rare currency and once a week have a merchant spawn somewhere on the map to trade for the rarer items.
