Thanks for the tip, maybe I will give windfall another try with a bit more armor. They have so many good looking moves but I almost never won before.
-
I would call that medium armor but that would be balanced I guess. When I try to play windfall I often have around 30 armor but I cant say if that is good since I am not a good windfall player and often lose.

I dont think there is really a "best" amount of blunt/cut protection but I would say yours is in a good area. Armor is not as important as in a lot of other games but having a certain amount does help. I would aim for a blunt protection between 40-6…

Thats how I build my decks. When i pick a string, I choose a good first move, then the third move that ends in the string I want to and then I pick a fitting second move to connect them all. Thats because moves can end in the same stance but start i…

I play this game on an old gaming laptop and it still runs smoothly ( even though i have to turn render scale down). I also have all setting downs to low except shadows, which i set to medium, that fixed the flickering lights for me.

- have you tried using side kick instead of leg breaker in your first string? its faster and should be harder to parry - your second string seems slow, i like to use faster attacks as the first attack in every string but the first 2 strings are espe…

I agree with that, some variety for deckbuilding would be appreciated. Its not just that some attacks have the same speed and damage but additional effects when compared to others, some moves do exactly the same but better. A good example would be…

There are some interesting ideas like the Naginata as weapon or an offensive based class but I dont think that a class like that would fit in well. Weapons have the advantage of reach and cut damage (which partly goes through blocks) so having a cla…

I agree on the part with the double-hit attacks but I think its fine that guard breaks counter absorb. Unlike every other style, where you have to observe your opponent, Kahlt lets you get far with only reflexes. I played Kahlt since the beginning a…

Giving earthquake a parry effect does sound good but I dont agree with changing gravity into a stopping attack, I prefer it the way it is now. Kahlt is not easier countered by that than forsaken, so there is no need for a change if kahlt is the rea…

If you are just looking for the buttons for changing stances, they are Q for top left, E for top right, Y or Z(depending on which keyboard layout you have) for down left and C for down right. Playing with mouse and keyboard is apparently worse than …

It seems I misunderstood some points. I agree with the suggestions against blocking opponents but that combined with avoiding gravity by ducking still wouldnt set the counters for earthquake and gravity equal. I am not sure if remember correctly but…
-
Negating gravity by ducking does sound reasonably considering all the ways you can negate earthquake but i am not sure about the other changes. The cast speed of gravity is already slow enough, I often run around with 5 shards because I cant use gra…

At first I was really excited about this game but that has died down now. I still enjoy it and play a few rounds every day, I like duel games like absolver but there are just so many 1vs1 fights you can do in a row. I also tried to make a new chara…

Gravity does seem like a must have ability in 1vs1 fights but I dont see how to change this spell without ruining it. The cast time is long enough so that you cant use it in the middle of the fight and if you are too far away you might not profit fr…

I also learned almost all of my moves from npcs (except rising spin slash or however that forsaken sword move is called) and I actually enjoyed doing so, it was a relaxing past time activity, but at one point I made a new character and I dropped him…

I dont think this Rage Mode would be a good idea, it would just encourage people to spam attacks during that time, and even if they cant dodge or block they can still use moves with dodge properties. I also disagree that more punish with greater ret…

That does sound like it would fit but you have to be careful with how much you buff kahlt since absorb is so easy to use. I see a lot of kahlt users in CT and most of them are quite good. In my opinion they are the second toughest matchup. I have ev…

I am using multiple dodge-attacks but i dont consider them cheap. You still have to use the right dodging moves to counter certain attacks and most of them are slower than regular attacks so just filling your deck randomly with dodge moves and spamm…

I guess you are right with the animation time but something should be done about those double-hit attacks. More than half the people i encounter at CT level 100+ are people who goldlink multiple double-hit attacks with guard break attacks and just a…

I agree that forsaken is not as broken as some posts in this forum say, it only needs some tweaks. The active parry time is the biggest issue for me. I remember one time where i used a fairly slow move, front kick, around the same time the enemy rai…

my thoughts to the list above: The Tournament: I dont know if that idea would be very successful. It would probably be difficult to find enough players in the fist place and then have those players stick to the end without leaving the tournament. …

A boxing style might sound nice but i think its unnecessary. I am not familiar with real martial arts but im sure there are a lot of them, too many to implement each one individually. Thats why choosing fitting moves to recreate something like a box…

I have the same problem, I dont know if the circumstances are the same but in my case they appeared after i beat both of them the first 3 times (without any problems) and started the fight again. every fight after the first 3 seems to have the same …

That is IF i win the second round. When one of the fighters barely wins but gets healed to 70-90% (when he gets a huge heal and uses the healing spell once or twice) then its like giving him one round almost for free even though it was a close match…
