There isn't any reason you shouldn't be able to connect in North America. Go ahead and shoot us an email as explained above and include your Steam ID along with the approximate time you were trying to connect.

Actually i`ve ran into exactly the same problem right now (the error messages are exactly the same, only difference is the date), but i`m located in Europe. Can you guys help me too?
