Played on my friends computer, now he can't play on his character

Since launch, my friend and I played the game every day all day, well last night I went to his house and logged into my own steam account on his computer. I played a few 1 v 1s and logged off. WELL, later that night I went home so we can try to fight each other (the servers haven't been working so we haven't played together). He logged on and the only character he could play as was mine even after logging back into his own steam account, is there any way to fix this or find his own character, or will he have to start over again?

    Look in appdata/local/absolver/savedgame and see if his save is in there, if so then get yours out of that folder.

    So we did that, now the game doesn't register any saved games. Both his characters are still in the folder, but whenever he launches the game it doesn't recognize his characters.

    Because Steam saves certain files locally, it's always best to switch Windows Users when playing on a computer not your own. This ensures the files go into a separate location and there's no chance to run into an issue like this. In a situation like this, if the save is now gone or overwritten, there's no way to bring it back.
