Hey, I thought about purchasing the game and then I found out that the game is region-locked.
It doesn't bother me too much but I think it'd be nice to be able to play with players from other regions.
will the game won't be region-locked somewhen? will I be able to play with players from other regions?
the devs have said something about this subject?

    We currently allow players to invite someone from a different region into their game instance. This is our current cross-region functionality.

    We don't offer full cross-region support as the game relies heavily on the connection between players to keep combat fluid and accurate in terms of contact and placement in relation to each other. Ping issues and lag due to distance can make the game unplayable as with most ping-reliant games.

    so will it be possible to invite a player from another region to a 1v1?
    I can see why you've made the matchmaking that way and it's a wise choice in my opinion, but for some reason the current player base is pretty low and because of it + the region-lock it looks like the playerbase that I can play against is very limited... what do you think about that?

    Cross-region invitations have been added to the game since version 1.05
