3v3 Game Mode

We have already started working on a 3v3 Combat Trial, in which two teams of players will fight for victory. The mode is really fun to play already, but it still needs some debugging and polish so we decided to release it a few weeks after launch. Stay tuned for intense team melee action!

    I believe you do it by inviting your friends into a queuing group. And then the three of you just queue together :)

    Queue up with a couple friends or randomly match just like the 1v1s. You will get sent to a special 3v3 arena version of some map areas.

    It's capture and hold. There are 3 areas that you need to control by standing in them. The areas are timed, and whoever holds one until it's time is up get's a point.

    I can't remember how many there are total, but I believe it goes from A-F.

    So it will start with circles A, B, C and when each one of those is captured and held (or no one gets it and it's neutralized), a new one will appear.

    I really hope its not a cluster of 6 players pit in 2 different teams. PLEASE make it arena style where its 1v1 with 3 players on each team and when one dies its like losing a life. first team to defeat all 3 opposing players wins. i REALLY hope its like that.

    That would just be like 1v1 with extra steps

    it is most definitely a 1v1. But you still win if your teammates dont die. I just hate the mess a 3v3 would make if you put 6 players into a pit and tell them to go at it.

    Im unsure if this should be on the wishlist or not, but i would greatly appreciate stat reallocation very soon, with 3v3 being the next big thing please bring stat reallocation into it because i would hate to be stuck with my current stats, while you change the meta. I have committed to 700 combat lvls on this character and i can feel the struggle being unable to optimize as things change.

    Our focus since launch has been to resolve as many of the server/lag issues as possible for players so everyone can enjoy the game. We're continuing to work on resolving this to our satisfaction and we also have people working on the other content we've previously discussed, such as the 3v3 mode. Once it's ready, we'll definitely let everyone know.

    Well, so far, "a few weeks" has been over 2 months. Im just saying, 3v3 is going to liven up the game, but if you wait too long like you are now, the already very low playerbase could take another hit. Im excited for 3v3, but even my excitement has limits. Its been quite a wait for content in general for this game, and even when its provided, its completed quickly and easily. Please release 3v3 extremely soon, it is necessary for the games longevity.

    I personally made a whole account on here just to say how much I love this game. However while it may have its moments, the overall lack of anything new to do whatsoever since launch along with the seemingly falsely provided hope of new game modes just makes it a freaking drag to even play anymore especially considering all I can even do with my friends is the same old wandering around since day 1. I’m no game dev so I can’t say you’re lazy but would it really have been so hard to add a 2v2 mode or 3v3 mode months ago. No one on my friends list even has it downloaded anymore because of the overall lack of variety it’s a great game in its mechanics and systems but without anywhere meaningful to use those skills whatsoever it’s all pointless. I can’t do anything meaningful with my friends or abilities like ranked or tourneys or even fight others except for occasionally when you run down on someone in open world. To finish I still like this game and want to play it but when I get lost all the time and can’t even put my skills to the test in game modes with friends or even at all because I’ve literally joined 1v1s where people lose on purpose for xp just cuz they can and it really makes the whole game seem pointless regardless of depth of combat. Absolver is like a puddle that’s a mile deep but a foot wide in terms of gameplay variation.

    There was a time I compared absolver to for honor and personally I like former better just for honor has game modes that feel rewarding to win in because of your choice to group up or go solo. Absolver makes grouping up feel like a chore and when you do you just soar with with your friends a bit then get bored and 1v1 u til you get off the game to play something else.

    Hey Sloclap,

    I hope that your quest for game balance and added content is going smooth on your end. We (the community/fans) have been waiting patiently for the team to get things in order. Some have not waited so patiently. I can understand and appreciate you guys and gals wanting to get a hold of the games stability, balance, and lag. Hopefully, there is a surprise coming soon that will arrive in the next update. (Surprise 2v2 would be nice!) Anyways, thanks for the hard work and commitment to excellence.

    I see the same problem my friends doesnt have the game annymore, i´m the only one still waithing for new things.
    I think that they give us a BIG WHAT, and what i mean is a good fighting game and i love it, but they forgot the must important thing! a BIG WHY, i mean reasons to keep playing, get better, for not loosing since i see all the time peaple loosing on porpose and thats kill all the satisfasion on winning, be whit ur friends on private rooms at least 8 peaple 2 are fighting the others are waithing for they time and are watching the fight because its really fun whatching ur friends fighting whaiting for your time to shine.
    thats what makes it fun, playing whit friends geeting more rewards on winning and nothing on loses, and a rank that makes you dont want to loose. But plz a good ranking that you loose the same points that you win on a winning, there are some ranking games that u get lots of points by winning and you almost dont loose anny on a lost --'
    You should e able to make armours and weapons lvl 1-2-3 " all equips start at lvl 1 and u use crystalsto improve them" and change a little is status, so that u can have your perfect look and status.

    I hope that u read this and do something, i really like the fighting style of Absolver!

    I agree with using the fragments to build things -- the RNG loot box is not the way to go. The best method of integrating better loot in an immersive way is through a shop, or through crafting. These are things that would exist in the world -- crafting would actually make more sense, considering there isn't much for civilization in what you explore in game.

    I think the development team has their sights on pursuing a more pvp oriented game. Granted, while I would really like an expansion on PvE aspects and less parallel server inception, I think this game too complicated (in APM related standards) to have too many people on a single instance.

    PvP ranking will be fun, and would be quite an accomplishment, if it gets tournament popularity, but I just think a game with some good social aspects keeps people playing.
