Reduce/remove heal-on-kill in 1v1

I think the healing after killing a player in combat trials should be reduced or removed because it gives too much of an advantage right now. I dont know how the amount of the restored health is calculated, sometimes it gives around 25% and sometimes 50% or even more. I had enough fights where the winner of the first round had around 20% left, a pretty even fight, but then he gets around 50% back and when he uses the healing spell aswell then he is almost full again.

  • That is IF i win the second round. When one of the fighters barely wins but gets healed to 70-90% (when he gets a huge heal and uses the healing spell once or twice) then its like giving him one round almost for free even though it was a close match. On top of that the heal seems to vary. If the amount is always the same, maybe 25%, then it would be fine in my opinion.
  • I feel it's already insanely nerfed. I think it's fine, you have to run Heal which prior you didn't.

    I feel like the issue lies with the way the heal ability works more so than the health you gain on kill.

  • I'm thinking about it this way: in most fighting games at the end of a round both players get up with full health again and go from there. In Absolver the loser gets up with full health and the winner either gets healed to full health or close but not quite full. Compared to other fighting games, this is actually nerfed because the winner is effectively punished for losing a lot of health that round. I think its fine. I've had plently of matches that were fantastic and balanced struggles, this health regain isn't an issue if you ask me. Especially since the devs have plenty of real issues to deal with already.
