AI Practice

Having an AI setting while testing out your combat deck might be a good idea. It can be configured to act in a certain manner such as aggresive or defensive with all the styles. Or making it use a certain patterrn over and over to practice dodging or special defensive moves. It might discourage socializing in terms of real fights but it might encourage building decks with known weaknesses and strengths not only against styles but moves.

  • That's a good idea, have a real practice dummy.
  • I have to agree with this as well as fighting games do this in their practice modes. It would be quite handy to see how damaging your decks are and to see the practice dummy move and react would be very helpful for new players and veterans to test against and learn the timings of various moves. Maybe allow the AI to attack with your combat deck so that you can see how it fares against a real player and see how easy it is to block, parry, dodge etc...
  • @Smithy09218 I was literally going to say the same thing lol...this feature is crucial for this game, players skills and deck building would improve at a much faster rate!
  • @JGreenbeastofOh I Know right, the issue would be making it so that people learn their own deck weaknesses by other players rather than the bots. Its just that the AI in the game does not respond well enough if you bash them with a speed only deck, and then when you go head to head against another player, they are able to defeat you with ease.
  • Hey TheMadBlade, thanks for sharing this idea with the community! I especially like the idea of deciding if the practice AI is offensive or defensive to test out the moves. I can't guarantee it'll be implemented, but I'll make absolutely sure to share this with the team. Thank you!
  • Thank you very much for recognizing my ideas :) love this game and feel very happy about developers who communicate with us on such a level
