  • Hello,

The current list of server locations is Ohio, London, Singapore, Sydney & San Paolo. Unfortunately, we do not currently have server located in Latin America.

If Latin American servers are added in the future, we will be sure to let everyone know. Thank you so much for your feedback, we truly appreciate it!

  • HELLO,

so... i have to wait about 12 months (or more? i don't know) to play the game that cost me 24 fucking dollaaaars ??

AND THE WORST OF ALL THIS SHIT IS THAT I CAN NOT REFUND, technically a scam, the product does not give me what promised. If they sell it in Latin America, are more decent and put a server to play it on Latin America!. If they can not do that at least post damn warnings !!!!!!!!!!! Caution: In South America it's impossible to play it

    Fuck, thanks.
  • Hey there!

You do not have to wait to play the game at all. Our servers handle matchmaking connections and we only need a dedicated server if there's a large player-base to handle. If the player-base in Latin America becomes large enough to need a server, we'll look into that.

However, the current servers don't need to be close to you to match you with a player since the game itself plays peer-to-peer. As long as there are players near you playing the game, then you can play against each other without issue. If there isn't anyone near you playing, that can be the cause of lag and other issues. Adding a matchmaking server wouldn't fix that.

If you're experiencing some other kind of issue with the network and lag, shoot us an email at support_PC@sloclap.com and we'll help you out!

I find myself getting matched with many players from Latin America whilst living in the north eastern USA. This causes a fair amount of lag half the time that turns me away from PvP (and the game as a whole) at times. Even if the player base in Latin America is too small to justify a server in that region, adding one would still positively effect the experience of players in North America.

If players in Latin America finding a game would be much harder due to the smaller selection of players, then a system where players can choose which regions their matchmaking uses would alleviate that. To solve the issue of foreign players picking a far away region, causing a laggy experience for players close to those regions, everyone should be able to exclude connections to players from certain regions.

This way both issues caused by region locked and non-region locked locations can be avoided via player choice. People who don't mind lag as much will be able to find more opponents, people who can't stand lag can have less laggy matches more often, and both Latin America and North America won't be forced into a laggy match 50% of the time due to prime times lining up.
