Unreal Engine 4 Resolution problem | \Config\ help required
Greetings,
first of all i would like to apologize for being a scrub who is unfamiliar with UE4 settings files, otherwise would have solved it already
the situation:
currently UE4 considers my small monitor to be the main one, and sets up small resolution each time on the game startup, even if it was set to correct one before.
basically, the game starts in correct resolution on launch, and then a moment later when entering menu it sets it to small so it all works just fine right after i set it up in settings, but on each restart of the game it goes crazy as described above.
this issue happens ONLY on UE4 titles i run, except few, for example UE4 StrikeVector EX,
can provide current settings in a archive to dissect
likely solution:
i need some assistance in changing settings at \Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\,
so the resolution i set up in file should not be checked with previous resolution or prefered resolution,
this way it will work just fine.
environment: 2 monitors
id2 2048x1152, set as the main display, however it has an id 2
id1 1366x768, this monitor is considered id 1 by the windows,
can't swap em physically, tried already,
videocard: gtx960 (this part is irrelevant, but in case someone would like to know)
current workaround:
i have to run the game in window, loosing quite alot of performance, which is clearly unoptimal,
the question:
is there a way to configure some/any files from
to ensure that my resolution would not reset after entering to menu?
Currently tried to change these settings, but it didn't work, what am i missing?
adding the WindowsNoEditor files from UE4 Strike Vecror EX ( the UE4 game where i have no resolution problems )
in attachement, aswell as current config folder of Absolver,
may be you guys can figure out what needs to be changed/added/removed from Absolver config files, so it will work fine
Best regards,
