Person running away in PVP, how to stop it?

Hello, I was watching a streamer play Absolver. He won 2 matches and the 3rd match, BestBuy Guy kept running around and not fighting. The streamer stated there was no time limit and if the streamer quits BestBuy Guy gets the win. There seems to be a flaw here. Is this a known thing/aspect/issue to the devs? If so, will something be done about this?

    Honestly just let the person win
    It doesn't affect your cb trials and there is no public K/D to view. It's not worth wasting your time and sanity.

    Also, is there a way to ignore and never fight a person?

    You can attempt to "request end fight" the same way you request co op but if they decline you're SOL.

    if you're a patient person you can stop it by simply not chasing the dude. asshat runner will eventually get bored running by himself so in the meantime you can check your phone/other monitor or something while holding your block button.

    i'm lvl 140 in combat trials and really only had this happen to me once though

    They run endlessly til they have time to heal, not just for the lols usually
    If they're bad, let em heal and merk em after

    Get out your sword and just chase him and keep right clicking eventually bit by bit he will die.. Or just be stubborn as me and wait till he leaves. He is wasting your time so waist his time

    It'd be great if they could make it so people could only sprint toward the enemy, in Combat Trials.
