South African Servers
Hi,
I bought the game thinking it would be Peer 2 Peer and playable with South African friends. Apparently the connection is run through selected servers. South Africa didn't get one and the game is pretty unbearable with delay.
I am not really begging or ranting about it cause South Africa as a region is pretty small but definitely on the heels of Australia/NZ in terms of playerbase.
I don't think it's the end of the world for your PR or anything if South African players don't get a playable game. We have the infrastructure to easily support a server (DotA2, CS:GO, Battlerite etc) but I'm just giving a heads up that this game is 100% a refund for this region. We occasionally play international games on EU servers if the game isn't too bad with high latency (WoW, League of legends) but Absolver is a fighting game and is currently unplayable with 220ms (should be 160ms unless you're routing it weirdly or not to EU servers).
Anyway, I'll keep checking here to see if you guys decide to maybe put up a SA server sometime this year. Goodluck with the launch! The 2 hours I played before getting to frustrated with delay was really good. I will definitely purchase if this problem is solved but I don't think the SA playerbase will hold you guys to Valve standards with localization here.

Thank you for your feedback! We're so sorry to hear the connectivity issues are having such an adverse effect on your experience. South Africa as a server location is a possibility, but requires some extra steps. Unfortunately, because of this we do not currently have an ETA.
