Problem: Magic buffs/debuffs are countered by running away
I don't have a suggestion for how to fix this, but you can basically nullify limited time buffs/debuffs (aside from heal) by running away.
It may not be a problem, though. The buffs will probably be more useful in 3v3 thanks to the control point mechanic forcing people to get close to each other even mid-buff.
