Welcome to the Academy!
Hello everyone and welcome! I wanted to introduce an idea that has been growing within our little community and that is creating a system using this game to create a casual-competitive atmosphere and rankings to better enhance how we enjoy this great fighting game. That being said this is not just a fight club. This is a community that is being built by its players around a sort of "fighting school" idea. In essence I wanted to create a system where players could join, learn fighting styles, develop techniques with experienced players and feel a sense of ownership and accomplishment with our ranking system and helping me develop the community. So far quite a few people have expressed major interest in this and we are working on polishing it. We use in-game mechanics like the school systems to branch our community out a little bit to rank them within their own style. There is a ton of information we just developed together and I hope you all can spend some time to come by and read our announcements.
