Infinite Black Screen After Death

Occasionally, there will be an infinite black screen after a death (tried waiting for 2 min before my patience ran out). The game will not accept any input during this and tabbing out then back in doesn't resolve the issue like some other games. Only option is to restart the game. Not exactly a game breaking bug, but fairly annoying given how easy it is to die in the game. Frequency of the bug seems to be fairly low, but I'd estimate it to be somewhere between 1/10 and 1/15 deaths.
