FUTURE OF ABSOLVER

Since the last major update will be out soon,
support for absolver will become very limited
and it wont sell any more copies in the near future,
UNLESS players are alowed to create content.
From maps , to game modes to private servers
rented by devoted players, there are alot of options to get new experiences for old players.

Thats why id re-suggest to supplie us with the original decoded version of absolver as soon as the sloclap support stops. Modders can change alot and that would certainly enable us to have fun for a Long time.
Absolver is a unique experience that cant be replaced for many experienced players.
I hope we can have something to look forward to in the future.

Further the player numbers for PC were 10-40 TIMES HIGHER! for OVER A MONTH( 1300 -3900 CURRENT players MORE)
the last time we got ONE free weekend.
I simply dont get why you dont set up free weekends more frequently. All they new players we had.... that they stayed for a
month shows that alot of copies were selled and im very certain the free weekend payed off.
I dont know who manages this but it doesnt make sense to me why Absolver should hold back free weekends.
Thats simply a wasted opportunity.

I often feel like Absolver could be a well known and wide spread game.

And that is why my last suggestion/wish is that Absolver gets to be free to play after you get no more sold copies.

  • I think that one of the biggest problems is the total lack of advertising. if this game was shown as the unique masterpiece hidden gem it is more people would come, so I really thing that if they had spent more time and effort on advertisement than an Xbox release they'd actually be making WAY more profit.

    Totally with you on the advertisement part.

    This game has a lot of potential. I was looking for an RPG of some sorts and opened the store page for Absolver by accident on Steam and wondered what the hell was this about. Downloaded it and got absorbed. No idea why this game has such a low amount of players. It's a relatively new game. :|

  • Id still really love to see more gear tbh, some new absolver cloaks would be so awesome, style rules the endgame to me, fighting deck included, its one thing to have pvp decks but sometimes you just gottaa build a deck because you look badass useing it. I hope the new patch is going well..

    This is sad. I love this game, so unique, and Im always trying to make my friends understand de essence of absolver so that they can experience it the same way as i am.´

    Something that may work is that fighting against other players in open world and winning can give you a better rewards. Maybe if you have an encounter with someone in open world and you kill him theres a chance of a drop of some item the dead player was wearing. That can push some players to try and fight because they liked your mask or somthing. The dead player won't lose his equipment and the drop chance might be really low but the chance exist. I think this won´t have repercution with combat trials.

    Maybe the thing about the short campaign is confusing the new players to think this is an adventure fighting game. So if they have something more to do while exploring, not only grind, push them to fight the other players they encounter (with the rewards i mentioned befor), or if you grind with a party increase the item drop chance, or more experience.

  • yes having a good motivation to fight in the pve world could help absolver alot. Personally id like random spawning pvp zones in the pve world with randomized rules like, each one has to fight with a indestructiable weapon or both players get the same combat deck or a 2on2 with these rules but things like that require sloclap to put way more effort into this game.
