Building Decks Backwards

Has anyone caught on to the fact that building a deck backwards changes the possible combo outcomes ? Example. If moves let's say... Moves 1, 2 and 4 work together forwards you may be able to get 1, 2 and 3 to work if you start from the end of your combo chains. (Top right stance should end in top left for a fluent circle. so decide the last move of your first 3 hit. "Repeat" The 3rd move should end in the starting in the next stance, then chose the second move in top right stance and finally the first move and your possibilities widen)

This was odd to type so any question I can gladly answer - Absolver

  • Choosing the first move first closes out possibilities for the next two potential moves. Starting backwards leaves a larger margin rather than excluding moves because of the stance they end in. Just thought I should add that :)
  • Thats how I build my decks. When i pick a string, I choose a good first move, then the third move that ends in the string I want to and then I pick a fitting second move to connect them all. Thats because moves can end in the same stance but start in different stances.
  • Absolutely I try to explain this to people and they don't grasp the concept to often, I figured I'd bring it to the forums try to get everyone on the the same train. Give a shot at doing your third and second moves, you're first move last but it will be most likely be in a smaller selection but then even your first move possibilities change.
