Attribute Rework

edited December 2017 in Suggestions?
Attributes would be a lot more interesting if they effected other properties of attacks. Instead of increasing things like stamina, health, and damage. This way attributes would enhance the playstyle of a player, rather than giving them a boring damage or health increase.

STR: Increases blockstun and stamina damage of attacks.
Gain would be proportional to the type of attack. Mid speed attacks would become on par with some of the current slow non-Breaking attacks. Breaking attack will gain a little extra stamina damage due to having insane base shield pressure already. The quickest attacks will gain little to no bonus in shield pressure. The slowest attacks would gain similar (but still lower) shield pressure to the weakest Guardbreaks at base STR.

DEX: Decreased stamina use of non-evasive attacks, and increased manual stance swap speed.
Some mid speed attacks would become stamina negative to a blocking oppponent, and all fast attacks will remain stamina negative for the attacker.

VIT: Decreased ghost damage received from attacks during Absorb and Charge status, faster ghost health regen, and higher defensive bonus from Protection/Absorb defense buffs. Tankier playstyles would be able to last longer and force aggression due to less risk from damage and faster regen.

END: Increased Stamina gain from successful defensive abilities (stagger should regen stamina on successful side and back dodge to utilize this). More aggressive playstyles will be able to to maintain stamina if they properly defend between periods of pressure, and Tankier players will be harder to break with raw shield pressure.

WILL: Same as current, but Shard Gain would give a static bonus per point (something like a constant .05 Shard Gain per point). Right now, lower values offer enough to where you can get high shard gain with little investment, and it's sub-optimal to go past 10 due to how little shard gain you get at higher values.

Mobility: Decreases stamina cost on evasive attacks, and Increases manual stance swap speed (in addition to determining weight class).

Style would still effect things like Base Health, Base Stamina, and Shard Gain per level.
