Uneven Geometry Dropping Inputs

It seems like uneven terrain causes very short fall states. These fall states cancel any inputs and prevent any other input from activating whilst falling. Due to the slow floaty fall speed and constantly uneven ground, inputs are often dropped and A.I. is also effected. This issue can be compounded by lag as location and movement data is janky when both latency and uneven terrain are put together.

These issues happen on steps, slanted ground, and any kind of small hill or ditch most often. This game would benefit by a system that keeps the player softlocked to the ground, to prevent small things from causing these fall states. Similar to Dark Souls 3. Otherwise the terrain's collision will have to be completely redone to acomedate the way fall states occur in this game.
