Black Screen one pvp?

whenever i try to enter combat trials after the game loads and it introduces each of the players, just right before the match starts iget a black screen and then either i get out of the match and nothing happens or i suppose the other player gets out so i get a win so im not able to pvp at all
any suggestions?
