Charge Moves

Remove them. I've been playing this game for quite some time and charge moves need to be removed. People will try to counter this argument with 'you can use them too' or 'parry them' but Forsaken isn't the only class, and I don't want to be forced to use Charge moves. They're not only BS but the description for them isn't even right. It's not that it absorbs one move. It absorbs 1 - 12 moves.

  • Good old hyperarmour.

    Its purpose is to break an attack spam so you can counter.

    Though yes, I hate it too.
  • Their are many play types and being able to switch up to punish certain behavior is the core mechanic of this game. Often I just switch to a attack that avoids and counters or double hits them to break it. Their are also moves that will break it in one attack designed to counter them. One of them is even a quick little eye poke that takes half a damn second. Ill be honest too in most games when I fight decent players I do not even follow though with the attack on the charge. They get so programmed to doge as soon as they see the white that feint and hit them with a fast attack. Often times repeating this can lead them into quite a few hits making the charges attacks more useful for feints then following though vs some opponents. Almost all charge attacks are straight or just barley to the side of them making super easy to dodge anyways. You have many options to deal with it and might need to rethink a new deck?
  • Nothing wrong with charge moves. If someone is using it the point of a safety net. Step back evaluate and approach. This game may have fast paced battles but smarts often decides the winner
  • Oh I was hoping this thread was going to be a nicer idea like, holding the input kind of attacks.
