Absolver PC-Steam Save game loss

My power went out while i was playing absolver, on steam and now the saves are gone, i had the cloud enabled but that doesn't seem to mater even though i can see a bunch of space taken up for the game data on the cloud i can't get it to download or it's broken, IDK. i don't want to go through all of that again please someone give me a fix
