Jumping!

I've played a lot of online games and one thing that's always consistent is: People love to jump.
You give a group of people the option to climb things they're not meant to and they'll do it for hours.

  • Absolutely not. That would destroy the beauty of moves in the game since people would spam jumping and the "fighting is like dancing" would be changed to "stupid jumping idiot on my screen". The nice developed world would become just another mmo with no estetic aspects.
  • I agree with Zostaw. The animation of Absolver is very specific. I think that I would rather see grabs than jumps being implemented and I'm doubtful even about that.

    Being able to customize the running attack should be an option. giving us some cool flying kicks.
  • Maybe add a jump feature except in combat mode because, me too, I feel something is missing when I cross the map.
    But we are in a vs fighting game so it's not really important.

  • I agree to jumping outside of combat. But the way the world is shaped and locks out areas with small rubbage, You would be jumping all over the map thinking you can get to places that you can't.
  • Agreed, jumping definitely needs to be included, especially while running around the map....as far as jumping during fighting I don't see a use for it, maybe a move similar to mma that allows you to kick off the wall and land an attack, or to get better position.
  • I would like to see "jump", as ingredient in the combo to work as part of the move. Ie. you press the jump and attack move right after and perform other attack (mid air?) - this would give jumping more context but would not work in the free world while exploring.
