My gear is disappearing....

I was running the new adalian mines, first part and after killing a few enemies I went into my equipment and the second I clicked "Equipment" and my Ripan Lord Scarf just disappeared. I did not die or anything close to that. I tried leaving the mines and restarting the game, but it did nothing. If the information helps, when I re loaded the game it put on an old shoulder armor I had on before I bought the scarf, but it was invisible and I had to equip something else, then re equip it for the shoulder armor to appear. I am still missing Ripan scarf and am hoping I did not just lose 900 fragments (not including the cost to die it black). I do not want to loose all the armor I had to grind for hours just to play the new update....

    Same problem after making a try in the Adalaian Mines. It was 1500 golden oratian pants

    I have the same problem. I started the game yesterday and I had extremely fond memories of it since I played the Beta version a while ago. I could finally afford it on sales on steam and the moment I stop playing it I loose every freaking piece of gear I gathered. I tried gaining more of them to see if it was a one time bug but no. Every time I close the game I loose ALL my stuff. So either the game is fixed soon and us players given back fragments or gear to replace the one we lost, or I ask for a refund because I didn't buy a pre alpha game as far as I know.

    If it helps, from the other complaints I have seen, it seems like everything you get is currently bugged since you just got the game after this update. Items and abilities acquired after this update disappear if you try to equip something else. This does not happen to anything that has been acquired before the update, which is game breaking for new people. This is not good news but I hope it helps you understand the issue. Some people are keeping their gear by never un equiping it but that does not help with abilities, im still not sure what that issue is about. its not a good solution, but it might work for now.

    I Log out with a full set of armor and a weapon. i log back in to nothing.

    Just happened with my Folded Eyes Mask...
    Thanks Odius for the explanation, not gonna unequip anything for the time being.

    It happened to me too, yesterday I got a mask, and today is disappeared I hope it is solved soon, I'll keep my stuff equipped for now.

    Ok, I am sorry, that's not correct, I had a shoulder piece equipped, it was still there when I logged in, but after I talked to an NPC it disappeared and found the shoulder slot empty, so objects can disappear even if you equip them.

    Same thing for me here : my gear disappeared twice this weekend... I was in the gear menu, looking at new stuff and when I pressed the B button (controller), all the equipped stuff vanished. One hour before, I had bought some scarf because I was tired of my peasant look...

    disappeared, but my fragments (5000) did not come back...

    I spent hours yesterday grinding the Essence Reserves so I could get the full Essence Miner set to go with my Folded mask. Finally managed to get every piece and dye all of them. Very pleased with myself. Then I opened a few Rift Disks hoping to get a cool mask and immediately got the Terra Cotta mask and the Hand of Marek. VERY PLEASED WITH MYSELF. Then I went to the essence shop and purchased Shadow Avoid to see if it fit my build.

    Logged in today and had a flick through my equipment just to refresh myself, as soon as I closed the equipment menu I lost everything I had equipped on all of my presets. Folded, Terra Cotta and Hand of Marek masks all gone. All of the equipment I got from my Rift Disks, gone. Every single piece of my Essence Miner set, gone. Shadow Avoid was no longer on my list of abilities.

    I'm probably going to uninstall. I don't mind grinding for gear if I get to KEEP THE GEAR. But I don't want to waste my time trying to get a set of equipment or a cool new ability for my character if it could disappear in an instant whenever the game feels like it. To put it simply, I'm pissed. I won't be playing Absolver until I see that this bug has been fixed in the patch notes.

    For the time being, please don't purchase any items from the Store or open any Rift Coins/Disks so as not to waste any Fragments you're earning until this is resolved.
