Windfall underpowered?

I feel like windfall is awful because every time i successfully dodge, the enemy just locks right on with his combo. And don't get me started with "dodging at the right time and at the right place" this shit is harder than dark souls 3 parries.

  • The trick isn't to avoid everything, but to chill out and block, then look for a gap to start attacking through. Once you can read the deck better, you can avoid more, and get more counters in. So, dodging at the right time and place is the way to win with windfall :)

dodging at the right time and place is basically luck based because of how hard to predict attacks are, the game is fast paced how are you supposed to see what kind of attack is coming,
  • The best way is to keep your block up and learn to avoid a specific move or two in your opponent's deck. Then, you let them throw that move without trying to interrupt it, avoid it, then counter. When they find a break in your counter, chill out, and repeat. You'll soon find yourself ahead in stamina and damage.
  • And it only seems that everything is fast -- there are a lot of fast moves that are easy to avoid once you get the timing.
  • its broken atm on successful avoids there is a slow mechanic.. but it doesnt fire off half the time no matter what the timing is.. still rather be windfail than kahlt
  • From what I've seen (and I use windfall 100% of the time), I'm not sure that's true. Every time I've avoided recently, and got the timing right, it worked. Every time I get the avoid wrong, I get hit, which is how it should be.
