Lag and other things
This will be my last post for awhile until the netcoding is fixed.. when i say fixed i mean there is same lag for both parties not one guy getting advantage over the other because of host. TBH this is one of the first things that should have been fixed. Windfall still buggy as hell.. sometimes you get the slow most times you do not depends on WHO IS HOST. At the end of the day this game has a very long way to go as far as polish bugs still plague the system, Forsaken still OP as hell, Windfall still not working right, Net code is not very good. So with this post I bid you all good luck and hopefully a future patch will address these issues and I will return as will alot of others I assume.

We’re very sorry to hear that you’ve had some trouble with the game’s matchmaking system. Our devs are constantly at work on improving various gameplay mechanics, including matchmaking, and feedback from our players is especially useful in diagnosing any potential issues that are being experienced.
Could you please answer the following questions so that we can pass this information along to our developers for investigation?
- What was the main issue experienced? ( If something other than lag.)
- How long did you have to wait in queue before being put into a match? (Was it instantly or did it take a few minutes?)
- In which region are you located / playing from?

They're basically saying who ever hosts gets the good end of the stick, with the current lag who ever doesnt host has a hard time having thier defencive abilities work properly. Not sure how this relates to matchmaking duration.
But anyway 1v1 is rather quick depending on the peak hours, 3v3 can range from 2-20 minutes + though once it finaly happens most people do ready so following queues are faster.

I am from germany and just „played“ a game. Or rather got beaten the crap out of me because i could not land a hit. When i tried to hit, the animation would start but after a short skip it wouldn't hit the opponent. Sometimes the game freezes for about half a second and then 4 hits got me while i was trying to do anything against it. Other games work just fine but in absolver i saldomly can play a match without lags. I forgot to save the video because i was to frustrated but next time i will send it.
We are sorry about your negative experience. If you're not running into this when playing alone and online, then it sounds like connection issues between you and the people you're playing with. If your connection with them hiccups at all due to wifi issues, ISP issues, etc, then that can cause issues for your gameplay.
Make sure you aren't on wifi. Wifi is notorious for dropping packets for zero reasons and can contribute to lag issues you may be seeing even with the best of wifi networks.
If you run into lag issues while playing Combat Trials or Downfall coop, please email us the IDs of all players involved and the approximate time you were playing to support_online (at) sloclap (dot) com so we can look into the network logs to see if it's something on our end we can resolve.
If you're playing solo, try switching into offline mode to see if this resolves the issue. If it does, it's most likely caused by someone else connected to your instance.
