School changes (Again)

When I first posted about this I used to own the #3 school on PS4. Were now #11 and I find it a little ridiculous no changes have been made...
I still cant change MY schools deck!
We practice it to find weaknesses but what's the point if I cant fix the weaknesses?

We need to be able to change the disciple reward, even if its just a one-time change. Nowhere did it say that everything you begin the school with would be set in stone.

Finally please add the ability to see the rank of individual members within the school.

  • Hello,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We can appreciate the desire to address any perceived weaknesses in a school's deck, and will keep it in mind when working on future updates.

We truly appreciate your suggestions and feedback. Please feel free to share any other ideas you may have in the future.
  • This is a good suggestion. I was unaware that it wasn't able to be changed. I just assumed that the mentor believed he had the most perfect deck.

You would think this is an obvious option to make.
  • With the decks being static I feel it gives opportunities for the top schools to fluctuate. As the meta changes and updates come out the old meta schools will be made somewhat irrelevant. When new weapons come out those new schools will be given a chance to flourish.

I get your concept, but I don't understand how that will play out in practice. We can only join schools from those we have come across, and there is no list of schools where they can compete for exposure, so joining a school will mostly be just random, learning a stance, or for a particular weapon.

So basically, being in a school doesn't mean anything. There is no value in a school besides what weapon it has to offer. It will also underappreciate schools made from a group of friends or a person of influence, such as a youtuber's fans.

Heh...this actually coincides with the notion that the developers of Absolver really didn't put much thought into community building in this game.
  • I have said this elsewhere; I think the School is very good idea, and one which I was excited about, but its lack of features and customizability make it a bit underwhelming.
