Increasing the duration of absorb

I think the duration for absorbs should be a little longer so that its easier to absorb double-hit attacks. Its very difficult for me to deal with double-hit attacks as kahlt since i would have to time my absorb very precisely to absorb both hits without losing my health immediately. It doesnt seem like other defensive abilities have this problem with double-hit attacks so it should be fair.

  • hmm I think the moves needs to be quick though so you can recover and counter attack with good timing in order to get your health back. Being stuck in a absorb animation would only set yourself up to get hit again in my opinion.
    I do find it strange that the defense type that has the least going for though has not only a weakness to stun attacks(red glow attacks) but a weakness to double hits as well. Currently it seems to be the only style with a hard counter move for it. And considering the low pay off...

  • I guess you are right with the animation time but something should be done about those double-hit attacks. More than half the people i encounter at CT level 100+ are people who goldlink multiple double-hit attacks with guard break attacks and just a few quick hits, swipes or charged attacks thrown in. It feels like kahlts are being hardcountered by everyone, i can barely use absorb in those matches.
    What if absorb would only have to hit the first attack and it will automatically absorb the second hit? That way they can be absorbed but they could still counter charged attacks.
  • I never really had this issue when I play kalt and I even use my own double attacks to attack kalt players. I have seen it work so I know its a more precise timing needed but I do agree On the fact that it should work for both hits. More so since their are moves that break kalt already so having double hit cancel the heal is....lackluster in my opinion..
