Thoughts and criticisms on my combat deck.

  • Been doing fairly okay, just need to lock down on the gold chaining.

  • Whoops. That's my in progress build. This is the build I'm using. Very similar.
  • Forsaken and Windfall
  • First thing I notice is the complete lack of Guard Break moves. I would recommend adding at least one.
  • Does that Spinning Parry / Kick combo land much? It seems like the window on the Spinning Parry is crazy small; and even if you do get the parry, the wind-up on that heavy kick seems too slow to punish in time. I guess if they side-step post parry the jump-kick will catch them but I never think to avoid after being parried; I either block or press the attack. I would maybe consider putting a faster attack after the Spin Parry, that way if the Parry catches, you'll get a guarantee punish.
  • Thank you for the input. I'll see about moving stuff around for that guard break.

Surprisingly that parry kick combo does land quite often. It's not the parry itself, but people rarely see the kick coming. Also, I don't go down that combo as often.
  • Updated my deck. Any thoughts?
  • You ps4 or pc?
  • I run my deck like a tool box. I have a fast combo that is hard to dodge so it forces people to block. Then I pull out my slower stuff. You can kinda do the same with your bottom right combo. You can do □□∆ instead of □□□ to prevent them from wanting to dodge the slower pushed back combo with your outstretch sweep

People are still going to wall you by guarding. I get walled a lot and I run charged attack as my first alt and pushed back kick and jumped out elbow same as you (but in the string, with pushed back starting off)

  • Thx for the input. I've actually changed my deck, and this has been working pretty darn well. Ofc I got a lot better at parrying too, so that may have something to do with it.
