New moves you'd like to be added

As title says.
Since I first created my character I've been trying to make the perfect boxing deck for me, but I just get stuck out of options for moves to use.
I would love to have a guard-breaking punch to add to the deck, but right now I have not a single option for a move for that role

  • I just want more moves with special properties added. I hate having to sacrifice the aesthetic of my deck for functionality.

    Having some kind of guradbreak like http://ippo.wikia.com/wiki/Smash would be pretty sweet.

  • The one inch punch could make for a good guard break or parry punch.
  • A double-palmed push that's fast enough to stop the drunken double overhead charge attack (maybe tai chi push, or just a double-palm block), and a knee or quicker low round kick to stop the drunken low whirlwind punch.
  • One more idea, if there isn't anything like this: a dodge / counter attack that would dodge an angle attack and counter, similar to dodge low / dodge high and counter moves. A slip to the right or left and hook (or uppercut) for boxing, or a slip to the right or left and straight kick or low round kick for kung fu.

    If I got what you meant right, there's...I think it's Body Blow how it's called. That dodges middle angle moves. You side step and punch the dude on it's liver. Using on my boxing deck and it's great
  • The body blow is a great defensive move but I would like to see more variants of that kind of attack. As ive build stances based on being on the defense to punish mistakes by my opponents.
  • I like the idea of including slip based counters. It's how boxers counter in real life so it makes sense to include it.
  • Definitely agree with you :) Id love to see a lariat type move just because its one of my favs
  • I think it would be cool to have moves that retreat. Some high-range moves are great at closing the distance but it would be great to have the inverse available as well; moves that attack and then lean or jump back. It would make attack range a more relevant variable

    Id love to see moves that move you around or even over your opponent. An interaction I love in game is when enemies dodge around you, which forces your character into a different stance with respect to them. It would be cool if this was a mechanic that was explored, like a move that allowed you to move around the opponent and force them into a different stance.
