Seperation of Armor Styles and Stats.

I've seen many different ways to implement such a system in a game.
The simplest on is to allow a "style lock" on each piece of gear.
you then maintain that style even if you switch to another piece of gear for different stats.

IT'd be great to be able to dress our absolvers however we want but still keep the exact stats we want as well.

  • Yes and no. When I see someone wearing an absolver cloak and a silly frog mask, I know they're geared up against blunt. When I see them wearing a lot of metal, I know there's no point in using my sword.
